Koolaid is saying he watched us play while on a recruiting visit after committing to us, but the way we struggled is what scared him off.

Me, personally, I can see that. Bad showings can affect a few that have perspective. So, for those that believe game results largely dont matter, sometimes they do.

If Bama helped him so much then why did he go lower in the Draft(41) than Roger McCreary(35). Also you needed to watch a game to know that we weren't very good???? Lol I call bullshite. He, like several other players who picked Alabama or Georgia over Auburn are pushing their schools narrative. Auburn=bad Bama=good. It's that simple. People will say Oh they ruined Byron Cowart, and Calvin Ashley, but both those dudes had HUGE issues, and would have been CUT by Saban. He was a Harsin staff recruit right??? I'm telling you that visit probably has more to do with him knowing the staff was bad, and it wouldn't be fun playing for a loser MORE than just one game. Believe him if you like though

Bama as we all know had a strangle hold on the state and there's literal pressure from family, friends, highschool coaches, and the dude behind the counter serving you food to go there. THAT'S what happened in my opinion. Us being bad didn't help, but until Freeze showed up, I saw 4* dudes picking Bama who NEVER played who would have been in Auburns 2 deep!!!!!!!!!!! It was soul draining to watch Bama be 3-4 deep at a position, but Malzhan still get his arse handed to him when we had a STARTING spot waiting!!! I'm sorry for ranting lol
