We’ve done the horns down since I can remember and there wasn’t a problem with it. We had to look at the horns up when texas was beating us, which was most of the time back then, so giving them something back was fair in a rivalry game.
But lack of success has made them soft and in a way they are right, they don’t deserve the respect of having other teams do this to them. Beating them is simply not a big deal anymore and hasn’t been for a long time.

The "horns down" gesture would not bother me If I was a Texas fan. What would bother me is the logo that resembles a uterus.

and I said it was Washington. Pick a subject and stay with it, do not change it in the middle. We were NOT talking about championships won in the past. Besides even if we were Texas would not be really included in the top 10 of that group (Alabama, Oklahoma, USCw, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska, Miami, Pittsburg, Michigan State, Tennessee all have more)
By the way, I have two cousins who graduated Phi Beta Kappa from University of Texas. They said that the degree they got from Texas was like any other regional school, only valuable in the state it was awarded. I know in Huntsville Alabama Texas graduates are nothing special (and before you try and retort, you might want to look up what Huntsville Alabama is and known for.)
