With OU and UT joining the SEC, will there ever be an SEC team with less than two losses?

A twelve team playoff makes sense IMO, because the SEC is going to be an NFL-like gauntlet. You've got the traditional stalwarts, and risers like Mizzou, Ole Miss, Uk with Stoops.

SEC baseball season hasn't started yet so calm down. We'll see you in a month as you front run, then you'll disappear when UT underperforms. I can set my watch to this script.

Really? Is that how you process things? Texas is known as UT, Tennessee is known as UT. You can't disseminate between the two in my post?

Rebel is unique. Congrats. We have three Tigers in the SEC, Auburn, LSU, Mizzou. Now we have two "UT's". A longhorn and a volunteer.

Yes you will still have 1 loss or occasional no loss teams, especially if we stick to this stupid 8 game schedule. But there will be some very good 10-2 teams that can win a national title.

Maybe, maybe not. Thing is 2 losses in the SEC should be good enough to get in the playoffs most years, conference champ or otherwise. That among other reasons is why we're joining. Perception often equals reality..and I think a 2 loss SEC team gets the benefit of a doubt over a Big12 or ACC team with the same record...and maybe even B1G as well.

This coming season I think Georgia has the best chance to due to their recruiting and talent on hand to run the table. But Bama is an unknown right now without Saban but they have plenty of talent as well.

Without divisions it’ll be more difficult for the up and down teams due to possible mismatches they aren’t used to. Or easier if the schedule sets up right.

It’ll be interesting.
