Amazing how it takes less than a minute for us to load the bases with 0 outs to only pass 1 run and get out of the inning

We have some really good bullpen arms. If we can have average starting pitching then we have a chance at making the tournament.

I’m not ready to be an optimist yet, but we are 14-5 with 4 of those losses coming in a 6 day window (last 2 at Hawaii, ASU, and high point Friday). Win a couple sec series and I might start to have hope again.

Tonight was a good win, feels nice to start off the conference slate with a top 20 win at home. Not going to be getting my hopes up yet but one could make the case that the two Hawaii losses and ASU loss were due to fatigue. Jet lag and the time difference probably played a part in those. Plus Hawaii isn’t an awful team (although we should definitely have beaten them).

And Fischer is 3-3 with 2 HR and a Double. And 3 runs scored.
We are hitting the ball hard all over the park. Most of our outs have been line drives or deep fly balls.
ETA: who had Liam Doyle from New Hampshire by way of Coastal Carolina on their bingo card as a weekend starter for us?

Assuming Dennis can give us 5-6 innings on Friday, I actually like Doyle on Saturday. Would hate to waste his stuff in a 2-1 loss against an ace.
