He ran for 63 on 21 carries. This includes sacks, probably half of which were on his poor pocket presence and inability to pickup a blitz

I don’t think that outweighs being unable to throw for 115+ yards

Now imagine with how Justice was looking that he got 21 carries instead.

It's just a mess, and I truly hope Bama never signs another "raw" "athlete" and try try try to turn them into a QB. It's not fair to anyone- especially a kid that does everything the right way attitude wise like JM, and Bama has too many guys depending on the QB to help get them to the NFL. It's not a position these semi pro teams have time to dick around with. You have a mess at QB next thing you know the WR Corp transfers and you can't recruit any skill players.

We saw WRs pissed off with Hurts - we see WRs pissed off with JM... just sign a fricken pure QB. This is Bama not georgia tech.

8 of his carries were 6 sacks for -49 yards and 2 errant snaps for -20

13 actual carries for 132 yards. That’s a pretty impressive output considering his longest run was only 18 yards. You can safely attribute at least some of the sacks to him but not all of them

Of course not. Passing threat is waaaaaaay more important than being a running threat. But the topic was “is Milroe actually a running threat?”
