How/why did Heupel start Milton over Nico all year?

Now you see why i was begging for him all year.

Instant huge upgrade over Milton.

It’s obvious Nico is better. Nico looks the part for sure

No. Joe did what we all wanted him to do. Between the Senior Bowl invite. the Draft process, and Nico's Mom being sick this was the best outcome for us. Joe takes care of his own and he took Nico under his wing early on.

Shhh don’t jinx us yet.

Realistically, if yall kick a FG there is virtually no chance Iowa will be able to score enough points to win unless you guys throw pick 6s or allow fumbles to be returned for a TD.

Def glad he sat out now. Especially with Nico’s mom and the cancer. Glad she got to see her boy play today.

Especially if our O stays keyed in.

If you're on the sideline they stomp you for being Bammer scum.

Wow, their WRs can’t catch when the QB finally gets it to them. That offense is really bad.

He stayed to support Nico and is playing in the SR bowl. Milton wasn’t a good fit for the Vols but you can’t fault him as a teammate or competitor.

Joe has been at practices and team meetings all week.

He has done everything Heupel and staff have asked of him to help Nico.

He earned my respect with how he handled the Hooker situation. Grateful for his performance in the Orange Bowl and, despite his faults and making me curse at the TV time and time again, I wish him well.

It’s amazing they won 10 games averaging 16 points a game

That’s some 1950s shite

This Iowa team would have been a natty winner in the 1930s.

With Joe's background it makes sense. He has younger siblings that he plays big brother to. He had his baby sister on the field after UVA. He's a total class act.
