Question - how many steps can you take before traveling is called>?
All depends on who is reffing the game

The worst I’ve ever seen was Russell Westbrook took literally 7 steps before bouncing the ball.
I studied the rule 10 years ago, but I still think the really fluid players can stretch the rule by looking cool, but many players actually perform the proper footwork within the rules. It’s a skill.

Kareem Canty traveled every single time he did a dribble step back

So now that UT has the conference title and the SEC tournament #1 seed wrapped up what are we looking at exactly. I’m trying to run the scenarios through my head.
If UT losses to UK that would push us to the 4 seed if we win and South Carolina wins.
If UT beats UK and South Carolina loses to ATM we would be the 2 seed. If South Carolina wins we would be the 3 seed.
Am I wrong or missing anything?
Regardless to get a double bye have to win Saturday

At this point, we know that we have a top 4 seed in the SECT locked in with a win Saturday. 2-4 who cares. Gonna have to beat the best to be the best.
Need to win that one, then get ready to kick arse and take names all the way into April.
ETA: SURVIVE AND ADVANCE! That is all that matters now.

Indiana is now a solid quad 1.

Just curious, but why would USC have the higher seed over us in that situation?
Maybe I'm missing something, but I thought the first tiebreaker for a three way tie was record in games played among the teams tied.
Usc would be 0-2, Bama would be 2-1, and we'd be 2-1.
Then it should go to the two team tie breaker after that I think (which is pretty convoluted between us and Bama).

I think 3 way or more tie goes to who has best record starting from the top of the standing. USCe is 1-1 vs UT
I could be mistaken
But you may be right I can’t keep up with these weird scenarios. It’ll be the same in football soon as well

NET hasn’t updated but they’d have to jump 51 spots to be quad 1. Should be solid quad 2 though

That is what I wonder as well. If Auburn, Alabama, South carolina, and Kentucky all win Saturday - which one gets the #5 seed in the SEC tournament?

Wins over #1 Tennessee?

I bet 1 of the 4 teams lose. Just win baby!

Indiana is now a solid quad 1.
Indiana is 95 in the net

Our Q1 record may suck but our Q2 is the best in the country

That’s the second tie breaker. The first tie breaker starts with the head to head record of the tied teams. So UK would be 2nd and USCe would be 5th. AU and bama would go to the second tiebreaker for 3rd and 4th since both are 2-2 against that group.

Shout out to the lady Tigers tonight for stomping the Razorbacks. 20 wins is 20 wins.

Looks like we play LSU tonight in the quarterfinal.
Looks like Auburn vs Arkansas was a de facto play-in game and we more or less clinched a bid.
ESPN+ Women's Bubble Watch from Monday:
Work to do
Auburn Tigers, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Texas A&M Aggies, Arkansas Razorbacks
Teams to watch: The SEC tournament could give us some great storylines and has huge bubble implications, pairing the four teams in the conference with "Work to do." Both games are projected to be close matchups, according to BPI, with Auburn and Texas A&M favored by 58% and 51%, respectively. The winners of each game will be hard pressed to knock off SEC No. 1 seed South Carolina -- the country's only remaining unbeaten Division I team -- or No. 2 seed LSU. But whichever teams win first matchup in the SEC second round on Thursday should have enough to push them onto the selection committee's board.
