Feel Bad for Hernandez as he has tagged some balls with nothing to show for it.
Not sure if sitting him down a bit would even help or warranted.
He is taking a few walks so he is getting on base.

I’ve mentioned a few time most of the schools in the SEC have club baseball programs.
Here’s a link to Auburn’s YouTube channel. For me it’s fun baseball to keep up with. Many of these young men could have gone to small universities or junior colleges and continued to play but they chose to attend the universities they did instead. They don’t make it to serious but pretty good baseball.

baseball game must have been rained out tonight. I saw where it has been changed to a doubleheader tomorrow.

Armstrong gets out of a big jam. 2 on, 0 outs and a dbl play and ground out later, score is the same. 5-1 headed to bottom of 7.

Myers gets in a big jamb with 3 walks, loads the bases with 1 out. Fly ball to right and Pierce channels his inner Judd Ward with a catch and throw out at the plate to end the inning for the Huskies!

Tilly takes over for Myers. After ground out, a single, fly out and another single scores 1 for UConn. 3-2 Tigers clinging to a lead.
Hall strikes out leaving 2 on. Needed some more 2 out magic right there.

Stanfield reaches in error, Maners singles, Hernandez moves Stanfield to third on fly out. Maners steals, throwing error scores Stanfield. Weiss strikes out but Irish crushes one to score two more. AU up 6-2 after the 6th.
