That’s why assigning maybe should be done nationally. If the money is pooled and coming from the NCAA instead of the conference offices, there would certainly less implication of hidden or ot her wise bias or favoritism.

If the officials or crew screw up, some or all may have to work a level like SE Tech vs Lower State U next week if they're lucky enough to get a game. The highest in game graded performers could then work the better games in which they have no inherent conflicts.
