Exactly. Plus, he’s not going to retroactively commit Title IX infractions in addition to the ones LSU is dealing with now. The dude is the Steve Spurrier we wished we’d hired in the 80s. Energy, system, confidence, and has command of the English language. ...
He messed up , and his name has been taboo to mention for anything in the SEC. However, I’d die on the hill of Hugh Freeze at LSU would light it up. Like steamroller. The dude can coach, would have the offense locked down and would have the funds at his disposal to have good DCs and be able to repla...

Winning 9 games - How?

Posted by Jeffreylebowski on 12/2/18 at 1:25 pm
All the debate about 9 wins being good this year or bleh/bad/disappointing.... I honestly don’t know how we won 9 games and had 10 stolen. Not that we got lucky , but I think 9 wins THIS SEASON was a really good accomplishment. I think we forget how the 2014-2015 and part of 2016 were lame duck seas...

re: CFP or good bowl preference?

Playoff. Do you want a shot to win the NC??!! Then the playoff is only way. You sure as $h!t won't luck up and win it playing in a NY6 bowl. Sheesh the freakin pansies that populate the LSU fan base. ...
Exactly. We don't have any explosive offensive players this year, and I have no idea who we'll have next year. ...
Agreed! There have been several offensive coaches/head coaches that have "gimmicked" their way into beating Alabama. They had "big man" deficiencies compared to Bama, but figured out ways to work around those, and put points on the board. We've always been too damn stubborn to try it because "We're ...

Game Breaking Offensive Player

Posted by Jeffreylebowski on 11/12/18 at 9:50 am
How long has it been since LSU has NOT had an offensive player that could possibly take it to the house anytime they touched the ball. I think this is another BIG part of the offensive problems this year, as much as OC and Off Line play. First year in a long time LSU has not had the go to, bail ...
LSU, right now, can compete with any team in the country right now, except for Alamaba. With Bama getting into a 4 team playoff whether or not they win the SEC West makes it dang near impossible for us to play for a NC. I know it sounds whinny but its reality. After watching that in person Saturday ...
Wait for it.........DOWN VOTE...

I'm not miserable just thought it was funny. He ran out there like a little kid trying to get a fist bump. ...

O and The Prince Postgame

Posted by Jeffreylebowski on 10/9/17 at 10:44 am
Did anyone happen to see Goebbels run up to O after the Florida game ended for a fist bump? When O was walking across the field with Micheal B to meet McElwain, DP basically butts in front of Bonnette to give a fist bump to O. He then just steps back in the middle of the field awkwardly looking for ...

re: Debunking The Buyout Myth

And yes the buyout $$ wouldn't fully come from the university, but the effects of not firing him and paying the buyout would be more detrimental to the athletic department and university. ...

Debunking The Buyout Myth

Posted by Jeffreylebowski on 10/4/17 at 9:04 am
Everyone keeps stating that we can't make a change because O has a $12M buyout. You absolutely can and they (Alleva not included) would. LSU Football netted $55M in football for 2015-2016. That's profit. Those profits usually pick up the slack (losses) from other sports, and the Athletic Departm...
Three words for you..... Sun In Eyes...
Bama played a tougher schedule and more games. This comparison doesn't work. LSU had a great defense regardless. ...

Willie Gay v Cam Akers

Posted by Jeffreylebowski on 1/4/17 at 3:18 pm
I was at the Clinton v Starkville game and Willie Gay was the best player on the field that night. Cam had a good game, but WG played QB, and was matching Cam's big plays. It was a great game, and if Starkville had been playing WG at QB all year they may have only lost the Clinton game. He would...
