Without a doubt the kicker was purposely trying to not kick it out of the end zone against Syracuse. You could tell on the kickoffs when the camera was on him...

It's crazy how our fans view offense vs defense. If our defense was ranked 25th in the nation people would say they are terrible whereas if our offense was ranked 25th in the nation people would be jumping for joy ...

I can understand why some people blame the defense for this loss but the fact is Notre Dame was missing several key players off of what was a bad defense to begin with. The fact that our offense only scored 21 points on them is inexcusable. ...

So 3rd and Chavis cost us a game where we scored 13 points and had 76 yards passing at home?? This ain't the 1970's anymore. Hell its not even 2011. The game has changed. You have to score points to win.
Big bad bama and their "all star" defenses have been destroyed their last 2 postseason games...

It's amazing how Chavis is now the scapegoat for all our problems since he's not here anymore. Bama has scored 41 total points in its last 2 trips to BR but it's Chavis fault we lost.
If your offense can't score at least 20 points in this day and age of college football you don't deserve to win...
