The letter that looks like an x is a z. The word is "zum" which basically means "to the" I thinks it says "Warm or cordial greetings for christmas and to the new year.". Or something close to that....

Because in Trump's case it wasn't the National Anthem that was being played, it was Retreat. He was not required to do anything different. Whether the National anthem is played indoors or outdoors you are required to stand, that is the difference. So yes, it is as disrespectful to not stand for the...
