Big bench for Christmas got us what we were looking for: my son benched 2 plates for first time (he’s been lifting for 1.5 years and weighs 155) and I hit 315 for 2 and then got one rep at 320. Those are both lifetime PRs for me. I think we may run Mass that Lasts next....

Finished up Big Bench for Christmas today. AMRAP’d 78% for 10 instead of doing the last 2 sets of 5. Going to rest tomorrow, max out Thursday, then start a new program. Something 4 day I think....

Big bench W4d3 today had 90%s. Did 3 sets of 2 at 290 then amrap’d last set. Got 4 reps and failed on the 5th. That was a PR for a single rep even (haven’t maxed out in forever). I’m gonna smash 3 plates bench when we max out at the end of this....

Over long enough time frames the glaze on the porcelain can get degraded by cleaners and then start accumulating scale inside. This can make the toilet performance a little worse. The bigger issue is that if your toilets were cheap ones that came with your house, if they are the older low flow model...

Finished 70s big just now. The deadlift days absolutely are too much for my old arse. I’ve never had programs with 9-12 sets of heavy deadlifts before and my grip gives out....

We have been running it every other day mostly and with 2 people swapping weights it’s more like 75 min at the minimum. We haven’t been pushing it either since we have had plenty of time to just enjoy lifting heavy. ...

Did 70s big day 11 “Legs like Kegs” today (we did the push day12 out of order). 14 sets of squats decently heavy followed by 10x10 db RDLs is not fricking around. I love this program; it is challenging us every workout and a lot of variety on exercises and rep schemes. ...

We are loving 70s big; heavy arse (5 rep sets) weighted chin/db row, bb row/Yates row supersets today had us grunting like silverbacks. Highly recommend this program to all....
2011 nike pro combats had a white helmet with really light grey tiger stripes on it IIRC. Those were badass ...

It is really good and we are enjoying it a lot. I’m not even sure wtf the split IS on this program though haha. I think so far it’s been push leg pull push deadlift push but the next workout is pull again not legs so shrug emoji. There is a LOT of 10x10 sets in this bad boy though I do know that. ...

You may find you adjust to the volume during the second week; if you raised TMs and the program is also a lot higher volume it takes a while to adjust.
