Lucky enough to go to Tokyo for work a few times a year and the show nailed the late night vibe you feel. Great show, good plot, and characters you were vested it. Never tried to be more than it was, just delivered on being what it knew it could be.

You can spend as little or as long in Tokyo as you like, you’ll never see it all. Though in my experience, a half a week in Tokyo is enough to get the flavor of the city, but not be fully immersed.
As others have mentioned, get out of Tokyo and head to the count...

Lots of great advice in this thread, all of it on point. I am fortunate enough to travel to Japan for work often enough and I’ve spent a few trips in the mountains skiing near Nagano.
As everyone has said, get a PASMO card, (on your iPhone is fine) but be careful they don’t take Visa. You’ll have...

If it’s an option, don’t stay in Colorado Springs. Nice enough town but no different than any big city in the US.
Try to stay in Buena Vista or Salida. If you can’t find anything there head up to Summit County to Dillon or Silverthorne....
