I agree with the op. O did a good job as the interim with a staff that was not his own. If we keep Aranda and get a good OC (Kiffin or someone near that level), combine that with the locked-down recruiting, then I think it's safe to say the sky isn't falling. It's not sexy and not my first ...

Seems to me that if Les goes and hires up-tempo, read option, spread type of OC then it seems logical he gets some leeway--maybe a couple of years. Provided he allows a higher degree of autonomy. However if he stays with same type of old school between the tackles Big 10 football and it continue...
I like this homo erotic masc dominance talk. Go on guys......

Good. Bulletin board material and added motivation....
Glad it's prime time. Glad that LSU is in games of this magnitude to warrant prime time tv. Doesn't matter when they play. LSU is a much better team and will win this time. We have a superstar and we finally have a QB. Defense will be good enough to handle Coker and Henry. They don't have ...

yeah, well when Kenyan Drake takes one to the house on November 7th, you may be less thrilled the shitiest ST coach in the NCAA. Fire that trainwreck ASAP....
If he doesn't get enough carries, Les would be accused of "running the ball by committee" and being a stubborn a-hole, not giving LF7 a legit chance to win the Heisman. Wasn't there another thread or article where LF or his parents suggested that they wanted him to get the carries so he could wi...

I'm expecting a close and stressful game. Glad to have been at Tiger Stadium in 2007 for the Fla game. In similar fashion, this could very possibly be our first real test in our quest for the Natl Championship. ...

I'm sorry to hear your son had to have this surgery and I hope he has a speedy and healthy recovery. Les Miles is a hell of a guy. That is class and a heart of gold. And kudos to your son for being a badass and saying Geaux Tigers to the surgeon. Got a little dusty in here reading the OP....

I want to know more about these "alternate" purple uniforms. Go with Gold jerseys--let's get crazy!...

Vista area is better for 30+ folks and closer to stadium. More eating and drinking options. Back in 2009, the kids and I wore our LSU jerseys (yeah go ahead and pile on--but the kids were young and it was fun to do it). After we won the game, we had no negative comments. Comments such as "go...
Considering that it's the only regular season LSU game we can attend, the kids and I would be crushed if they didn't play this game at Williams Brice (first time since 2009 I believe). Here in Wilmington NC (much closer to the coast for those of you without maps), we know this storm will be gone ...
I can think of no better round. Amazing fury. Marvelous Marvin Hagler was my favorite boxer growing up. Loved it when he would switch to southpaw and back mid-fight. And he got f'ing robbed in the Sugar Ray fight....
Law of large numbers brah...
Steele on his own is not an upgrade and is likely a downgrade. Steele with Coach O and our db coaches may work. May not. We'll just see. The recruiting team is tops and that's a fact. I would maintain that our issue is not defense. If LSU could learn to score 28-35 pts/game, we'd be in the...
lol thanks. I'm from Wilmington, NC... we're pretty relaxed around here. That aside, we better score some gaddam points this year!...
I'm fine with him going. we probably needed some fresh blood. I don't think Steele is as advanced of a DC mind as Chavis but if he's a good LB coach and Coach O for DL, I'm hopeful we can do well. Better than Chavis? I don't know... but LSU fans have been vocal of the bend but don't break defens...

May not have been an official tradition but in the wake of Peterson>Mathieu>Fournette I'd guess that it has or will become one among the players, if nothing else....
I'm from the future. We win 27-24 next year. I'm "in the know" Are you a self loathing Notre Dame fan? If so, you'll fit in well here. frick Notre Dame....
