Drew Brees comparison 2018 and 2019

Posted by dulargetiger on 1/3/20 at 10:10 pm
I was looking at his stats from last year and this year and if you put his 2019 stats to be the same as 2018 it comes out almost identical. Raising his passing attempts proportionally from 378 to his 2018 number of 489 it comes out like this: Attempts 2018(489) 2019(489) completions for both seasons...
I thought he was made up like Svengoolie!!...
I think we got Gary Cuozzo from Baltimore and they got Bubba with the first round pick....
The Big Cat Ernie Ladd was about 6'9 and 320 pounds and Buck Buchanan was 6'7 and 286. Rookie Bubba Smith was 6'7 and 295. Atkins was next....

I don't know. I probably would have got killed today anyway with the way the games went. Don't worry Chicken. I guess I was asleep at the wheel. Thanks for your time and trouble....

I was looking every day but did not see an opportunity to pick. If the opening window was only a day then it is a possibility but I think I got put in the loser pool since I picked the Monday night game last week and my next turn never came up. It is no big deal and I will rest at 14-0....

NFL Survivor

I was still alive at 14-0 but my score was never advanced and still shows 13-0 and I never saw where I could pick for week 15 and now I see that the deadline was several days ago. I have been looking every day so I could make my pick. I guess I have been eliminated by a technical glitch....

re: LSU Ole Miss memory 1970

I went to the 1969 LSU-Tulane game with my dad. I recall just before the game that LSU found out that they were snubbed by the Cotton Bowl thanks to Notre Dame. They voted to make the Tulane game their bowl game and beat the Wave 27-0 or something similar. The 69 run defense was something. They gave...
I think that it is unfair for LSU to have to go 2-0 vs. Oregon or Alabama to be champs but Alabama and Oregon have to only go 1-1 vs. LSU. So I say no rematch unless the perfect storm happens. Also, I believe you have to win the conference championship to even be eligible....

I thought I said "other than the return" as I do remember that. I was trying to be helpful and truthful as I was there. I would think that only older "pops" would have better memories than a ten year old....

I was at the game. I was only ten years old and no longer have specific memories of the game other than the return and excitement of us all. I remember thinking it sure was easy to score. The Rams gradually wore down the Saints on way to an 11-1-2 season record. It has over the years been in my mind...
I saw Terry Robiskie in high school back in the early 1970's. He was a beast at quarterback. Lawrence...

Billy Cannon was my orthodontist in my teens. I asked him about the old AFL and some players I remembered in my youth. Once I asked him about Lance Alworth. I remember Alworth running away from just about everyone when he caught a pass and he was a 9.6 sprinter in high school. Well Billy told me tha...
I went with my dad in 1967-69 to the games. I was 10 in 1967. My most vivid memory is of watching the Eagles come out for warmups in about 1968. Our seats were near the 17 yard line where the teams came out to the field. We always watched the players come out as they were very close to us as they...
Without getting into a pure statistical argument with you I watched games from the mid 1960's to today. I attended all Saints home games from 1967-69. The game I see today is no where near the same game as the game of the 1960's. Rules have been implemented to boost offensive performance because tha...
In 1967 I was ten years old.My dad had season tickets from 1967-69. We sat on the east side near the dressing rooms. We has seats on the 26 yard line just to the side of the entrance to the stadium. We would wait under the stadium and watch the players go out to warm up without their pads. I alwa...
