Do you ever have a problem with re-freezing it? The last time I thawed/ ground/ and re-froze it turned bad. Maybe I didn't keep it cold enough or maybe it got freezer burnt. ...

Got a doe this morning. First deer of the season and needed to fill the freezer. Came home and fried the heart, liver, and tenderloin for the first time. After watching Rinella do it so many times I've been wanting to try it. Turned out really good. Over cooked the liver a little but still not bad. ...

I've read his Hunting, Butchering, and Cooking Big Game Book. I've also read the MeatEater book, and I'm in the process of reading his American Buffalo book right now. His podcasts are well worth your time as well. ...
