re: 2018-2019 Season Long Ski Thread

Headed to Breckinridge at the end of January. We’ll be walking distance to Main Street and just off 4 o’clock street. Looking for recommendations on bars and ski rentals. So far Christy’s and Carver’s seem to be the two top choices that I’ve found for ski rental packages. What would y’all suggest?...

Hey Guys, Going to Park City for the first time the 3rd week in December. We're staying in the Downtown area one street off of main. Any recommendations on a rental store in walking distance? Needing the skis, boots, and helmet package. Also looking for good restaurants and bars if any of you ar...

Got the switch mounted and it turned out nice. Now I have a question on the GPS/Radio wiring. Should those wires be directly connected to the deep cycle battery or should they go through the switch somehow? Wouldn't it defeat the purpose of having the switch if they were directly connected the b...

Battery Switch Location - CC Boat

Posted by SavDawg8 on 8/2/17 at 3:18 pm
So I'm installing a second battery and battery switch this weekend and was looking for some ideas on a good location to mount the switch. Both batteries are located in the center console so I originally wanted to mount it inside on the wall above the right battery, but I'm not sure if I like having ...

Ford Financing Question

Posted by SavDawg8 on 7/14/17 at 10:19 am
I'm seeing the 0% interest for 72 months when you finance through Ford, but does that also apply if you buy slightly used and finance through them? Wondering if a truck with 20-50k miles would fall under the same kind of deal......

Thanks guys. I'm allergic to cats and have a dog so a cat isn't gonna work. Guess I'll look for some of that grub killer and try the pitch fork method in the meantime!...

Yes, saw a vole while I was cutting grass right after I bought the house and let it go because I didn't know what it was. Have also found 2 dead moles from the worms....

Best way to remove moles/voles

Posted by SavDawg8 on 5/31/17 at 10:25 am
So I've tried two kinds of traps, the solar vibrating poles, and poisonous worms. I've only had minimal success with the worms, but those happen to be the most expensive. Every time I water the grass, there is a new trail the following day. I have lots of oak trees and large beds with leaves which i...

PS Vue with Chromecast Question

Posted by SavDawg8 on 5/25/17 at 3:15 pm
So we currently have a chromecast in the living room and one in the bedroom. I use the app on my phone to choose the channel and send it to the TV using the chromecast icon. My issue is that I want to be logged on in the living room to watch whatever while my wife watches something in the bedroom, b...

New Boat - Need Advice

Posted by SavDawg8 on 3/24/17 at 11:50 am
Just bought a new boat and was wondering the what the best way was to remove a fairly large decal. The boat is 20yrs old so it would probably have a ghost image behind it when I do finally get it removed. Any advice on getting rid of that would be great as well!...
