I have done Tanzania twice. Group of 3 and group of 5. Used Good Earth Tours for private safari..just your group and your driver/guide. They'll plan a trip with you. For Rome: Buy a Roma Pass, you get 3 museums/sites free then others are discounted and you will have a special expedited line at museums and Colosseum, etc. Well worth the $$ just for the expedited entry.
