Selective outrage considering the number of days BR and Nola area schools miss for the various special holidays celebrated. A week off for Mardi Gras but how dare a school delay the start of Spring semester for 2 whole days since that can't possibly be made up. Tuscaloosa Academy in particular is a better school than 95% of the high schools in Louisiana so trust that they know what they're doing at TA.

This is one of the most Alabama things I have ever witnessed. Are they worried someone will blow up the school if Alabama loses?

Sounds like a majority of the school administration has tix to the NC game. Forget education.

The headmaster of the tuscaloosa school should probably spend more time in school so he can learn to spell CHAMPIONSHIP correctly.

It seems Alabama is well on its way to supplanting Mississippi as the dumbest state in the union.

SECdragonmaster, it does seem to send a poor message about the importance of an education, but if the shoe fits...

This will certainly not help our national image of a state that only cares about football.
