The move will mark the latest in a massive coaching overhaul at Florida, which hired new head coach Jim McElwain earlier this month to replace Will Muschamp.

Mississippi State's defense was outstanding this season under Collins, allowing just 19.4 points per game -- the 10th-lowest average in the FBS. The Bulldogs went 10-2 -- their first 10-win season since 1999 -- and will play Georgia Tech in the Capital One Orange Bowl.
Collins is 43 years old and has served as Mississippi State's defensive coordinator since 2011. ESPN reports that his new deal at Florida is for three years.
