Five players from the SEC landed on the list of 19 quarterfinalists for the Lott IMPACT Trophy, which was announced Tuesday.

The 19 players represent the best college defensive players in the nation who make the biggest IMPACT on their team both on and off the field. IMPACT is an acronym for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity. The winner of the 2016 Lott IMPACT Trophy will be announced live on FOX Sports on Sunday, December 11th at 7pm PST.
