Or excommunicated, even if the term is not quite correct, but it seems fitting considering.

Given that he was only on the UGA board for a day, at most, I think the "cut out with surgical precision" definition of excised is probably more accurate than exiled, because that board definitely was NOT his native land.

I am going to go with Exiled in that he wanted to kiss this board all over for letting him remain after getting booted from all the other boards this week.

Yes it is an old guy reference to a 70's rock band, but that should be well inside ITtOD's wheelhouse. It's all I got today.

Hey, geezer, some of us get your old music references. Good music will always be good music. It's too bad we have so much crap being made today.

Nah, that was my middle age references, if I was going old it would have been a Eubie Blake or Johnny Niles reference. Pretty sure only Prof and Scrooster are old enough for those.

On a serious note how far back do you go for music? Exile was the 70's and ITtOD likes Zep which goes back to the 60's and 70's. Always interested in knowing how each age group defines their listening range.

Uh...as far as old bands, I think Bad Company and Zeppelin are about as far back as I go. I've heard a few songs older than that I enjoy, but those 2 are the ones I listen to the most.

If you like Bad Company you might like Foghat and / or Edgar Winter and / or Bachman Turner Overdrive

Vaguely familiar with Foghat. My dad finds it amusing that I'm into a lot of the same music as he was.

Good music is timeless. Who doesn't like Muddy Waters or Bessie Smith? Love some old school blues.

I remember seeing an ancient Eubie Blake showing up on The Tonight Show back in the Carson era, but can't tell you much beyond that.

I probably would have for an Exile on Main Street riff, mostly because I despised that Exile song you referenced above... :)

Actually, I'm starting to think exorcised might be the most accurate description of the boards from which he is removed. Gotta get the demons out...
