MBB: Baldwin named SEC Freshman of the Week

Wade Baldwin is off to a very nice start to his Vandy career, performing well enough in wins over Lipscomb and Tennessee State last week to be awarded SEC Freshman of the Week. Baldwin's numbers were averages of 9.5 points, 7.5 assists, six rebounds, and 1.5 steals during Vandy's wins and included 10 assists against Tennessee State. Wade is the first Vanderbilt player to win the award since Damian Jones last season.

He didn't really slow down against Norfolk State either. WD is looking like he could have a very bright future, especially with all of the guards around him for him to dish to.
