"If James Franklin wants to play, we will play any time and place, anywhere."

Those were Derek Mason's comments at SportsFest in Nashville when discussion turned to OOC scheduling. My first thought is that I hope we can get this done in 2015 or 2016. Otherwise, the players hit hardest by him leaving will be gone. It would be the craziest game at Vanderbilt Stadium (at least in my lifetime). However, I'd imagine Franklin would be too scared to come back to Nashville. At best, they will want us to travel to them. I think we'd have a pretty good traveling group for this game, even with the distance.

Is this a bad idea to call out a program traditionally so much better or do you like seeing Mason lay down the challenge? Personally, I love it. The players (at least some of them) want this. Mason is going to bat for his player's and risking humiliation if PSU blows us out. I hope this happens, and I'll damn sure be trying to go.

Lol PSU would not blow us out. All we have to do is run a Spread and Mason would eat that joke of an OC for lunch. F knows this and is to big of a pussy to let this game ever happen. Would love to see it but sadly we wont.

I wasn't saying I think we'd get blown out, but I'm sure some people think so. I agree about the recipe for victory. I don't think Shoop ever stopped a spread team. McCrary could have a field day. Hell, Patton is fast enough to run against a Shoop defense.
