Depth Chart for Game 1

Fear not, this is just Mason being a typical coach and keeping the cards close to his chest. Mason and Ludwig have both stated that Johnny, Wade, and the rest of the team know who is #1 and #2. The reps are also being divided based on that by now.

McCrary is who everyone expects it to be. Only one media person, David Boclair of the Nashville Post, has stated he/she thinks it will be Wade.

The official depth chart from Vandy added an -or- designation to the punter spot between Cooke and Openshaw. It also added Josh Smith as Stephen Weatherly's immediate backup. Both CB spots are also listed as -or- battles. Strange.

Yep. We lose two off the offensive line in Bernstein and Pulley. Kentera and Scheu will be receiving targets gone after this year. Defensively, Herring, Azubike, and Williamson will be the only 3 starters gone. McIntosh is the only other one off this depth chart gone on that side.

That's why this year it is so important to just see improvement. If we could somehow, someway scratch, claw, and fight to 6 wins, those 15 extra practices could be huge. Even if we can't get that far, if we go from dumpster fire to competent team this year then I would be full on hype train for next year.
