I like the long home stretch before going over to Palo Alto for the first time. I'm amazed Stanford was so bad last year, but Quantrill will be the Friday ace once more. Should be a good series. Overall, OOC seems weaker than most years.

And I can finally go see the series in Baton Rouge

LSU will be tough, but I think Florida and A&M back to back will be more difficult. Florida brings back almost everybody from a very good team.

Vandy is #4 in the perfect game poll. I think these high rankings are just poll inertia. Curious to see where D1 Baseball comes down on this.

Some surprises in that projected line-up--the big one being Kaiser beating out Jones for shortstop.

I really wouldn't put much stock in that projected lineup at all.

I agree, especially since I thought Bowden had had a great summer. Thought he might be worth a try at Sunday behind Wright and Sheffield.

The duel behind the plate should be interesting. Ellison has always been better than Delay in keeping balls in front of him, but with Fulmer gone, does Corbin choose Delay's bat over Ellison's glove? I doubt it.

Spiral binding was a nice touch

Would laugh if my "suggestions" in the past were responsible!

Much more fitting for a team that won the CWS then the "generic" ones.

Good start. I like seeing Kendall pick up where he left off last season, and the freshmen look like they will be solid contributors early, especially Kaiser.

Fairly dominating weekend for Vandy. Nice to see Kyle Wright and Hayden Stone in there ahead of schedule.

Sheffield absolutely dominated Xavier yesterday: 7 2/3 innings, 1 hit, 3 walks, 12 strikeouts. Looking like an ace so far!
