I don't think Jesus could win with this roster. Maybe Jesus....but no mortal.

If they fired him, who could they hire?

No

They have a 50 win roster

They are fricking awful

The GM's made this mess and he would just be the fall guy even though he's not a very good coach. No one could win with that roster.

They'd be better off without a talentless roster. Ride Fredi into the ground and replace him when our young talent comes up.

Baseball is different than football or basketball in that a great manager can't scheme his way into wins in baseball like coaches can in football or basketball. You either have the talent or you don't. The Braves don't. Unless some drastic moves are made, this team is at least 3 years away from being able to even contend for the playoffs. And that is only if all of the big time prospects pan out.

All I want to for them to trade Freeman so we don't waste his career.

Man, did they lay waste to this roster.

THIS team would not be better off without Fredi. They're really bad

But when they get ready to add some competitive players to this roster and start taking the franchise seriously, they will be better off without Gonzalez.

My opinion is they kept Fredi because their plan is to get better over the next year or two. In 2-3 years they want to be contenders. Fredi is here to be fired, so when they hire the next guy the roster will be flush with good, young talent and be ready to win.

Fredi has already proven that he can't win with talent. I think firing him is the way to go because these younger players need solid leadership and he don't provide it. I've seen at least 3 games he has blown this season just because he is out of touch with his pitchers. Yeah it's only three games but bad management is bad management. By the way, we knew this was a rebuilding year so the front office is doing exactly what they said they would.

Decent Braves teams sucked with Fredi, now horrible Braves teams suck with Fredi. Therefore Fredi sucks.

People forget how long Frediot has been the manager and mismanaging the Braves. He was a stupid hire in the beginning and has never been able to manage a bullpen or lineup correctly. His teams have no fight and almost always lack plate discipline.

He needs to go. He's stale at this point. Perhaps a new manager would ignite this team somehow, perhaps not, but let's not act like he hasn't always been bad even with a decent roster.

Yea but he's playing the part of Jim Tomsula nicely for now. Fire him mid 2017 or after this year if we have a guy we feel comfortable with. I've heard folks say Eddie Perez. I kind of want an outsider. Well, I want a clone of Maddon is what I really want. And Theo Epstein. Maybe I just want the Cubs entire FO.

I wasn't alone in being ready to dump Fredi after some of the head-scratching decisions he made down the stretch in 2011 that cost the Braves a wild card spot. Then there was his decision to stick with Carpenter over Kimbrel against the Dodgers in 2013.

Fredi is a lame duck either way. The question is, do you want to ride it out with him and start fresh with a new manager next season or fire him now and leave an interim manager with what amounts to a AAAA roster? At the very least, the schedule gets somewhat easier from here on out for an interim manager.

Fredi needs to go, period.

I know they are in the rebuilding process and I get that, but Fredi has been crap since he has been here. Plenty of managerial blunders from him and I think it is been time for him to go. However, I don't mind waiting for the Braves to get their guy before firing Fredi.

I think we are all looking for a fall guy tbh....this team is just not good. The talent is just not there...you can fire Fredi all you want but they will still suck for the next 2-5 years.

I think firing him would make some of us feel better, but it sure as hell aint gonna help this team.

Shouldn't you be more concerned with the Marlins?
