Not everyone can play for Bama. We will be fine with the recruits

We might not lose any but Ill bet Mecole and Kyle and Derrick and Isaac are thinking some other places would be better to spend their college careers than Athens under this administration.

They could go somewhere and compete or play for CMR and be mediocre

I hope so.
Talking to a 5 star receiver...
"Son, if we had more receivers like you, big targets that can go up and fight for the ball, we'd be in business. You are the missing link..."
Talking to a 5 star OL ...
"You see where we are at with these guys now, you'll compete for playing time right away, a guy with your abilities is all this team is missing to be able to open up the holes for the running backs and win championships"
etc etc

sure...they will spin it but at the end of the day the only TRUE thing they can say is...you will not be developed at UGA but you have a great chance of going on to being a perennial pro-bowler in the NFL.
While you are at UGA, expect to lose to any legitimate contenders we encounter.

bullshite, the kids will figure out that they are pulling for one team to win and go there. They aren't going to give a frick that we lost.

this is so dumb....you wont be developed at UGA but you have a great chance of becoming a pro-bowler? So youre saying that future probowlers are playing in high school right now and that UGA improves their technique and skills 0%.
lol, so ignorant

You know...hate is a strong word that I rarely use, but I have a very good feeling that you would be the kind of person I would absolutely hate in real life and would avoid you at every turn possible. Just oil and water here. We should continue to ignore each others posts. I'm going to start now.

You are just on a roll with the insults tonight, aren't you.
How about Geno Atkins? Did anyone see him coming out of UGA? Terrell Davis...different administration, same result.
Of course I am not suggesting that they get 0% development, but it is possible to get little development at the college level and become a pro-bowler.
Theres got to be a reason we have the 3rd or 4th most players in the NFL and no NC's to show for the past 35 years.
I like you waxy...but you've been unpleasant to deal with today. Get drunk. Get laid. Get high. Whatever it takes to come back tomorrow without having to call names in every post you don't agree with.

Haven't thrown around that many insults, really. Sorry dude, but if you think players are getting ZERO development while at UGA and then going on to thrive in the NFL...Thats an ignorant opinion to me.
i dont think that happens much at all...like ever
check, check and check. I havent been name calling nearly as much as some others here. I am irritated at some of these ill-informed, one-tracked minded individuals that think the sky is falling so I'm sorry if you caught some of that.

So great recruits come here to become more-or-less goodish players?

I see him as a skinny jean, Hollister button up, Grizzley Wintergreen type of fig... Probably drives a jeep and wears one of those vintage, throwback UGA hats (that looks like a rat ate at the bill).... Also wouldn't be suprised if he has one of this Yetti stickers or even a Ron Jon on the back of his piece of shite... would love to meet that pussy in public...

How about this then...not being as well developed as they might have been if they had gone to a different school. Geno was a decent player for us. Has been a beast in the NFL. Even guys who have been ok for us have stuck on NFL rosters for years, maybe not as pro-bowlers but good enough to play, and they showed little of that ability while here. Robert Geathers comes to mind.
Tim Jennings was a good player for us but, did anyone really see him hanging in the NFL for as long as he has?
Look...we are all pissed because of an emotionally upsetting game and many of us have made comments we wouldn't normally say...myself included. Some of us are just being our everyday selves.
Its all good...GF is on the way over, and Ill rail her and the wife for a couple of hours tonight to make myself feel better.
I don't think the sky is falling, but we are certainly missing something from the magical equation that brings championships and we need to find it. If its not players and its not coaches we need to learn what it is.
To brighter days ahead
