Their QB won't last through this season if he continues to run upright... we will be well prepared for his play action and we will not give up the edge like LSU did.

He might not last this game running that upright with #3 & #6 filling the holes inside and #7 & #17 on the outside.

I'm worried about big plays against our secondary. As I said, we've gotten lucky with QB's missing open targets downfield and if Fritz is on that could be a problem - especially if we struggle against their defense.

Fitz can throw, Fitz can scramble, Fitz cannot scramble and throw. There will be too much pressure for him to deal with to exploit our secondary,

He didn't seem like a pro QB that can stand back and pick you apart. He makes his stuff happen with the misdirection and PA.

White boy Fitzgerald is twice the athlete Wimbush is.

No worries at all.

If I see Hubert Owens and his crew I will be concerned.

Those Brady-esque quick hit throws are where I've seen Fromm have the most success. He's hitting his receivers in stride and on the numbers or leading to their hands. Chaney HAS to get the TEs involved this week. They're not doing any good blocking if the interior of the oline breaks down to pressure quickly.

No he's not, not at all. He might be a better passer, but he's neither as fast or as quick.

Fitzgerald is a poor man's Matt Jones. That guy could fly off the egde, too bad he enjoyed cocaine a lil too much.

No he's not

He's a better passer. Much stronger. Bigger and plenty fast. Last year he passed for over 2400 yards and ran for over 1300. He was only 20 some odd yards from leading the Southeastern Conference in rushing. All the while playing in the west on a mediocre team. If you think Winbush can put up those kind of numbers, well we'll just disagree.

Not to mention that he is leading the SEC in a number of stats.

The more you speak, the more I'm knowing it's not just a win... but a major fricking arse kicking win for the good guys.

You said he was a better athlete. He's not. He's not as fast or athletic as Wimbush. He might be a better QB, but that was never the argument. As for Wimbush, he rushed for 100 yards and a TD in the first game, and he rushed for 200 yards and 4 TDs last week. I think that speaks volumes about his athletic ability. Notre Dame as a team has rushed for 400 and 500 yards in two of the three games.

Wimbush as athletic and fast as he is couldn't do a thing against our defense running the read option. I don't see Fitzgerald doing much either running the football. If he does then we are not nearly as good on defense as I thought.

Not trying to be a smart arse btw... they're good... a nice little team... but... this favoritism was expected. There's something different about Kirby and co. this year. They, for the most part, have been prepared for every game. It's about time they snap out of the offensive funk and MSU is the right team to do it to. UGA, at least early against ND, seems to play better when they're counted out. Again... never thought I would ever say this... Kirby will have this team ready... the nation will see we're no longer Richts Pups...
