say that I think UT hit the nail on the head. I was one of the dawgs callin for Richt's head in 09 and wanted Brian Kelly hired. shite, it paid off for ND. Jones is Kelly's old assistant and has had success. He has a sidleline deamenor and a way of bringing toughness out of his players. I hope I am wrong but I worry more about Butch Jones than I do beilemick or Malzhan. We could be in for a fight with the sister kissers this year. shite dooleys rednecks took us to the wire this year.

Brett beilea, from Wisconsin, he took the Arkansas job, I don't know how to really spell his name. Dude that looks like he has enjoyed some bratwurst in his day at UW.

Jones had better hire some assistants that have good recruiting ties to the neighboring states, or he is in for the same fate as Dooley..

I think he is a bad fit for that job

I hope so because I can't stand the sister kissers but I think that he is a good coach and can motivate some kids.

Agreed. He's never had to build any kind of program. He's always been left a winner and just continued what they were doing. Plus, if he's going to Jancek as his DC he's doomed.

The one shining light that I forgot about was the 09 Cincy team went 12-0 and then Jones took over and went 4-8 in 2010. He is going to have some trouble building depth but I hope he is in over his head. Sister Kissers.

Bielema took WISCONSIN to three straight Rose Bowls. He had to recruit out of state a lot because there isn't a lot of h.s. talent in that state. When was the last time you heard of a five star recruit going to Wisconsin? That dude can flat out coach

I'll have to search, but he pretty much beat up on the Indiana's of the league. He's been so-so verse OSU, UM, MSU, and PSU. And even they haven't exactly been dominant the last few years.

He definitely beat up on the weak and the sad (83-20 vs Indiana in 2010 comes to mind) but they beat #1 Ohio State in 2010 and were two Hail Mary passes from playing for the NC last year. This year was doomed from the start. OC left for Pitt, Montee Ball getting jumped in that mugging, replacing Russell Wilson, yet their 5 losses came by something like a combined 13 points and 3 were in overtime. And they boatraced Nebraska in their biggest game of the season

Brett Bielma is a pretty good coach, only knock on him is his lack of clock managment in games.

Their OL always mauls people, and I think the JJ dude at Houston was five stars. If not, he should have been. Flat out beast of a DL.

Wasn't JJ a 3* TE coming out of high school? Pretty sure because he played his first year of college at Central Michigan, dropped out, and then re-enrolled/redshirted at UW. Pretty typical Bielema to get more from less... not sure how he'll fit in the SEC but guy has ability to coach players up.

I think that Arkansas won the coaching race, for sure. The jury's still out on Malzahn as a HC in my book. I think the situation in Knoxville is largely untenable for anyone in that position, and it'll take another 2-3 years for them to straighten out that poor defense- being jerked around back and forth from 3-4/4-3 multiple times. Does Kentucky still have a team?
