For Gurley knowing he was wrong (assuming he was), then self report the information to the NCAA and then ask for anything in return such as has been speculated on this board? It could piss them off. And the easiest way to gain the upper hand is simply render no decision for weeks or months and then say ya Gurley is clear to play based on several recent court cases.

Granted that would effectively be an open door for future players to sign away at will but they would go out with a bang? I'm having trouble understanding any of the logic behind the scenarios I'm reading.

Georgia hired an attorney because this attorney is very familiar with the inner workings of the NCAA investigations process. He will gather the evidence and present it in the best possible way to represent Todd Gurley and the university.

Really? Confused about that are we?

Do realize how much is at stake here? Do I need to explain that?

Do you want to go into a probabe battle (negotiation) with the NCAA with just your dick in your hand?

I just love how these fricktards are saying that UGA should just let Gurley play regardless. I bet they would really love win vacancies/forfeitures...

No one is saying just let him play but we are saying get this mess taken care of so the university and this team that is playing for the SEC East can move on. There is obviously more to the story but we would all agree that the best solution is to get this mess resolved ASAP.
