I'm stealing this topic from the 247 board...I thought it would something good to discuss here. Which team would you like to see us have a home and home with in the future?
I personally would like either Oklahoma, Texas, or Penn State

We're bound to play them anyway, with all the SEC/ACC tie ins during bowl season and ChikFilA kickoff, and the "storyline"

I'll add....
Ohio State
Michigan
But they are too chickenshit to schedule hard OOC games so it will never happen.

I'm in the mood to troll Ohio State and Michigan fans on the internet. Can anyone recommend a good place to start?

I think they'd make a great 2nd OOC rival.
In fact, I think we can cede all the home games to them if they want.

Army. Sherman graduated from there - payback owed. "Neutral site game" to be played in Atlanta.

The only reason I wouldn't want a home and home with Michigan or Ohio St is BC they are already taking GA boys and if they could use the fact that the kids could go there and still have a chance to play in front of their friends and family it might open up the flood gates...with that being said I would love to stomp all over THE Michigan Coach's team and watch him looking miserable on the sidelines

FSU
They are the only big team we haven't played in the past 15 years that is borderline of the state and they are consistently raiding the state of GA for recruits. And, it would be nice to go to a Georgia game in this god awful city.
Clemson, North Carolina, Florida, Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee.

Somebody needs to do a wellness check on WG. This thread has been up for almost 24 hours now with no response from him.

Ohio State regularly schedules strong OOC teams. We were on their schedule but our AD wanted out of that deal. Same with Oregon. McGarity wants our OOC schedule to look like what he saw at Florida.
I would prefer to see us playing some strong OOC games. We should rotate Tech and Clemson every other year, and add another Power 5 team every year.

Ohio State played at Oklahoma last season and host them this year. Michigan is playing at Florida this year. Don't seem very chickenshit to me.

Based on McGarity on radio this morning, we shouldn't count on any of this happenning. He said they are getting alot of blowback about only having 5-6 home games a year.

I wouldn't count on it anyway. I like the idea of home and home series with big OOC teams but it's not popular. WG should've already been in here telling us how stupid it is to schedule tough OOC games because there's no benefit.

Especially with talk of a 9 game SEC schedule, that will pretty much be the end of the marquis matchups OOC unless we drop GT, which will be never.
Edit for clarification-
Basically, if you have 9 SEC games, you theoretically have 4.5 away games each year (sometimes 4, sometimes 5).
Then you have JAcksonville which is never in Athens.
Then you have GT which is home/away.
Then let's add a theoretical home/away with Oklahoma.
In an off year, you only end up with 4 games in Sanford Stadium.
Not gonna happen.
