Well didn't Tennessee run 100 something plays?

Somewhere along that. PART of that was because we scored on a punt return and a fumble return. And the offense was shell shocked when we lost Chubb, and didn't adjust as well as they could.

And we could become a ut if he stays too long like fulmer or Mack brown did. Damned either way.

Ask tenn and texas fans if they are happier right this minute or when fulmer/mack were coaching. 100% of both fanbases would take back the old days in a heartbeat.

As for me, I'm not really concerned one way or another because my opinion doens't matter. Richt is going to be here until he decides to leave or our hand is forced by a couple really bad years in a row. He certainly isn't getting fired at the end of this season so I'm not gonig to work myself up one way or the other on what I think should happen.

Fire him. Willing to put up with someone else at this point.

Unfortunately, Eason on signed financial aid papers and not LOI. But, oh well.

Not completely true. I think the majority of Texas fans understood that Mack needed to go, but Texas was also in a much worse situation than UGA is. Mack stopped recruiting, and lost 5 games by 20+ points in his last year. If Richt does that he should be gone.

I do not want him fired. Great man, great coach. I feel like he has finally hired good coordinators. A few years will iron out the rest. I would say patience and I know that people say "You have been saying that for 10 years" but most of the people that want Mark Richt fired wanted him fired him fired before he ever had a "bad" year. If Florida State had let go of Bowden in 1986 to go after another hot shot (cause they hadn't won a title with Bowden but got close) then they wouldn't have went on the run in the late 80's and early 90's that they did. It is all a matter of perspective.

I don't want him fired.

I would like to see some improvement, however, especially on defense. Let's see how the team bounces back after 2 straight losses.

Ask the Florida fans if they were happy when they changed to Spurrier or Myer, ask the Bama fans are they a happy they changed to Saben, ask the Michigan fans are they happy they changed to Harbaugh, ask Carolina if they are happy they changed to Spurrier, ask Duke if they are happy they changed to Coach K, Packers Lombardi, NC Smith, Steelers Nole, 49ers Walsh, on and on and on.

Change doesn't have to be bad. It can be great. And it is time for a change.

Quit being scared.

I'll make up my mind after the season's over. I didn't have particularly high hopes for this season, so two losses haven't done a whole lot to change my opinion.

As I said in the other thread. I'm open to change but just not change for changes sake. So that has led me to take a position of not firing. A passing of the tourch is best.

I think we are heading in the right direction as a program in spite of a couple of bad games. Not on board the fire train yet.

Someone said that after WV kicked our arse. And after losing to olorado. And after UCF, Vandy and Florida ast year. Headed in the right direction of mediocrity must be what we are shooting for
