So, the last 2 times we've knocked the Barn out of the Top 10, we've only allowed them 1 TD in each game? Sweet!

I would just like to say Eason is not Aaron Murray. There was no choking going on today.

besides the fact that I disagree with you, why the frick are you bringing this up in this conversation?

"Hey guys, how long has it been since we beat a Top 10 team?"

"I don't know, but Aaron Murray sucked"

Have you just been waiting all evening to interject this?

Lol, it's relevant because I say it is.

How many top ten teams did Aarron Murray lose to?

More times than not, Murray wasn't the reason we lost to elite teams. Grantham didn't do him many favors (see: Arkansas and Auburn in 2010, Alabama in SECCG, Prayer at Jordan-Hare, etc).

If you're gonna blame anyone, blame Richt for his shitty record against ranked teams from 08 to 11.

The entire point of my post was Jacob Eason was almost flawless in this game. Murray, a great quarterback, always had his struggles against top ten teams. Even in 2012 when we beat #2 Florida, he still threw three interceptions. Murray, more times than not, made costly mistakes against top ten teams.

To be fair, outside of the two big throws to Godwin and McKenzie, Eason didn't have to do a lot tonight, and got away with a couple of throws that should have picked (one of which would've been a TD).

In most cases, Murray had to throw for 300+ and score 35+ to give us a chance against top teams. Auburn scored 7 today.

I disagree. I feel like Eason played his most complete game tonight. A couple of bad throws but he managed the game well, was very accurate especially on the long ball, threw one away to prevent a sack and protected the ball. GA moved the ball well between the 20's and then decided to get cute in the red zone a couple of times

I agree he was good, and I'm a fan of Eason, but trying to extrapolate a game where we won with 13 points and no offensive TDs into Eason being better than Murray is laughable.

We know next to nothing about what Eason's story is going to be when it's over. People STILL to this day trying to ham-fist shots at the best statistical QB in SEC history is pathetic.

Murray played his arse off for UGA. He took hits Eason can't imagine. Eason looked like he was scared shitless after getting sacked and his helmet came off. Murray got thrown to the wolves and he gave us all some great memories and was tough as nails. Frig you if you want to bash a kid that gave it all for us. Eason may me the greatest UGA QB ever BUT he hasn't earned that yet. Shitty Oline or not, he ain't took licks like Murray and hopped back up...and his passing hasn't got me sold he's the savior yet.

Nobody has said any of this? Stop living inside your own head and step out into the real world. Eason played a great game against a great defense with almost no mistakes. Hopefully this continues. Nobody said he was better than Murray.
