Dear Kirby apologists... Please let us know, so we know what to expect the rest of the way.

Thanks

Kentucky, ULL and maybe GT. GT is a push since their offense is probably better than our offense and their defense is about as good as ours.

Simple solution: we just borrow from the British and the Romans. Going forward, after any loss, one coach determined by lottery will be executed for "failing to do his utmost," and his body will be gibbeted from the crossbar of one goalpost for the remainder of the season. For the team, after any loss, they will be decimated, again by lottery, and the resulting bodies will be gibbeted from the crossbar of the other. No transfers will be granted, no resignations will be accepted. This new policy will be announced Monday, so everyone should be amply motivated for Florida. Problem solved.

Well, that settles that. We will finish the regular season 7-5.

We have to beat UK and we have to beat ULL to get to 6 wins. GT will be tough but maybe we pull out a W. UF will kick our butts. The only other intriguing game is Auburn. We seem to have their number. So 7 - 5 is definitely a stretch but possible. I don't see us doing any better. If I had to bet... I think 6 - 6 is more realistic.

GG, I used to think that TN or AU had the dumbest fan base in the country, now I'm starting to wonder. We have way too many doofus asses who don't know a thing about football, like UT fans, who insist on spouting. Peter Buck is a good example. CKS is barely 10 months into his HC'ing career, inherited a shite show, and some of these doofus asses expect a SECEC. We start a TF QB with no wideouts, and a very inconsistent OL. CMR quit on the lean last season and CKS came in late, as he should have done, to try and put some kind of season together, and Peter Buck criticizes him every opportunity he gets. Amazing.

Hey, Cobb...did you ever find that proof that Mark Richt knew he was going to Miami before the 2015 season started?

You like to call names and point fingers, but you do more talking about stuff you know nothing about than anybody on the board.

I'm waiting for the link or other proof you said you had. Let's see....you said Mark Richt quit on Georgia and already knew he was going to Miami before the 2015 season started. That would have been before miami fired their coach and before Georgia had fired him.

Georgia has enough talent to beat every team on their schedule, but they can't because they have the 2nd worst coaching staff in the conference.

All of them, but not enough talent to feel secure about any of them.

This. Depth is a problem. Normally, depth is not QUITE as big a problem with Kentucky and some others because we simply have more top end talent. but we have a young, learning, inexperienced head coach, so we need the depth to beat teams like Vandy, Kentucky and GT.

Once Kirby gets his experience, we will beat those teams more easily, but we will need the depth to beat the Alabama's and Tennessee's on our schedule.

It's not a matter of a lack of talent, or the coaching staff alone. (By this, I mean their experience) It is a combination.

We have one group pointing fingers at the previous coaching staff and the other group pointing their fingers at the current coaching staff. Unfortunately, it is a combination.

I talk Xs and Os here all the time and don't recall you contributing to real football talk. I criticize Smart because he is the coach and what I criticize has merit. It's not every chance I get though. I hope he succeeds, but as of now, he has a lot of work to do as a coach and a leader. If his dad died and he had to take over the family team, I guess I could see me being patient as he learned his way. He is making millions a year to coach a football team and so far, I haven't seen a whole lot that makes me think that he is gonna turn things around. I hope he does.

The subject of this thread is to draw a line as to what teams we should expect to win based on our talent. You, ironically, criticize me every chance you get. Here is your chance to explain the shortcomings of the team and to define its parameters. Go...

What proof do you want? Recorded conversations? Contracts? My comments are based on what I heard from people very close to the program. Whether you believe it or not is not my concern. I know what was said to me. Golden is gone, CMR is gone, and Pruitt is gone. What do you think the Pruitt/Richt "discussion" was about? Try and expand your mind a little and put two-and-two together. Do you think CFB HC's are hired and fired on whims? Follow the "rational trail". Or don't.

I criticize you because 1) you tend to make comments that have no merit, and 2) you are, apparently, a grown man calling yourself "Peter Buck".

I'll start using "Mick Jagger". Then maybe you'll get it.
