Maybe not this year but after we fire Chaney next year.

Pros:
great recruiter
Pro style offense experience
Young
Speaks to "duel-threat QBs"

Cons:
zero experience calling games
No QB handling experience
Could suck

Might be worth interviewing if we could get a good QB coach to go along with him. Maybe Joe Cox lulz

A QB that can hold his own on the fencing court (?) Is a pretty important quality in today's college football. Idiot

Play calling with Chaney isn't that bad. Players are open.

Execution has been horrible. And that has kept us more conservative that we would have hoped pre-season. You can't ask for more downfield throws when your QB misfires on the easy ones.

Despite the playcalling, it is up to the coaches to get the players ready to execute. That might be an issue with Chaney. Or like a lot of teams with a new system, new language, and new QB... year 2 is when the growing pains of year 1 really pay off.

As soon as they start demanding satisfaction, we're going to burn through them awfully fast.

Newbie Head Coach needs experienced seasoned coordinators around him.

BMac in a few years maybe.

Look, Muschamp played McClendon when he told him he would be "co-offensive coordinator". He only told him that so it would seem like BMAC would be getting a promotion. He was brought to USC to do one thing and one thing only, recruit kids. Well played Muchamp

Let BMac cut his teeth as OC somewhere for 4 years and make some good stats. then let's talk about offering him a job here.
