In the dawgnation article above it mentions how work on the west end zone expansion began immediately after graduation last week and will continue throughout the season. I'm just wondering if those privy to these sorts of things can explain how that'll be possible? Will they just finish off all the preliminary work they can before the season and then wait for the last home game before they go to town on the overhaul? Seems strange to think they'll be able to work on this throughout the season/leave the work until late November.

From what McEars said on 680 all the work this spring/summer will be the infrastructure under the bridge with new locker rooms etc. Will not notice anything from inside Sanford unless you enter/exit gates 1 or 10. Temporary bathrooms and concessions will be in place for those in the W. EZ for '17.

The rest will start immediately after the end of the'17 season and the W. E.Z. will prolly not be available for the Spring game in '18...

That's kind of what I thought would happen, but the article was written like the construction was going to be a constant throughout the season so I was wondering. Sucks that the West Endzone will have to put up with even worse bathrooms and concessions than normal
