Just trying to find a little silver lining today.

Chubb eclipsed Garrison Hearst this weekend for 3rd all time on the career rushing list.

He is in 3rd place with 3282 yards......just 3 yards behind 2nd place Todd Gurley with 3285.

He is at 988 for the season. With the bowl game he should go over 1,000 for the season and solidly into 2nd place.

Just think what it could have been had he sat out until the 4th game and fully recovered instead of delaying his recovery 10 games by playing too early. Took him until Auburn to finally heal up. He will put on a Gurley performance next year in the NFL.

No. He would be behind as that unc game never happens. I think he got hurt vs nicholls when he got planted in the endzone by 5 of their guys.

If he sat the first 4 games not sure he'd be where he is now yardage wise?

He'd have to average about 125 a game for 8 games to equal where he is now.

As a freshman he averaged 119 ypg but only started 8 gmes. As a soph he averaged 124.5 ypg before he got hurt. He could have matched that if healthy for the last 8 games. We all saw he was missing that big burst of speed early this year.

He had the 200+ yard UNC game though and that is carrying him to 2nd place right now.

Unfortunately, we added him to the Hines Ward, Champ Bailey, AJ Grenn club of great players who never played for a relevant UGA team...

DGD but we absolutely wasted him.

that game clinching run vs UNC told us otherwise.

Is that the one where he was chased down from behind? Never would have happened before the injury.

does it count as being chased down from behind if you're already in the endzone?

Wrong. It happened in 2014, except he didn't score that time.
