Probably the most glorious a win I've experienced and I was at both our SECCG wins. Beating a #2, undefeated UF team for the first back-to-back wins for UGA in the series in a long time... the electricity in that stadium from both sides is ineffable. The big plays and turnovers... I still get chills thinking about where I was sitting when Malcolm Mitchell redeemed himself after a stupid personal foul penalty before that 3rd down when he housed the winning TD. Or when Jarvis stripped that TE at the line and Commings recovered.
I think that 2012 game embodies what makes this matchup such an irreplaceable fan experience: unlike any other game, you're fighting with your team. It's you, your half of the stadium, and the guys on the field against that other team and that other fanbase. When you score, it visibly hurts them. When they score on us, we have no choice but to stare at their jubilation.
It's total football war and you feel as apart of it as you ever will. People that want that game moved out of Jax don't get that. If you ever experienced it, you'd never want it moved.

Watching all the Florida fans screaming with joy across from you is one of the sickest feelings you can have watching a football game.

That was the most fun I've ever had at a football game. Period. Jarvis muthafrickin' Jones.

Yup. I'll never forget watching from the endzone student section as malcolm was running towards the other and the hysteria that ensued.

That game was awesome. I was so freaking mad at Malcom after he got that personal foul (definitely not the first one he'd received that season) and I believe I was not saying the nicest things about him.
But then Malcom, you went and did something like that,
and gatorhata, the student section for that game was awesome. Probably my favorite, with Mizzou from 2012 in a close second

When Malcolm Mitchell is on the field you can see and feel how much he loves football. It's hard to articulate, but I feel like I can feel his joy at playing football more so than other players.

For happiest after a game I have to say this or 2013 LSU are #1 for me. I went to the WLCOP in 2012 fully thinking Georgia would be routed. Helluva game.

In 1985, Fla was number 1 and we beat them.
From the gators themselves
11/9/1985 ''No. 1 for a Week'' Florida 3 vs. Georgia 24
From 1983-85 Florida was having its best run ever. In 1983 they had gone 9-2-1, in 1984 won their first SEC title, albeit then stripped, while going 9-1-1, and had opened the 1985 season 7-0-1. After winning at Auburn 14-10 in a battle of top-10 teams (UF No. 2, AU No. 6), Florida moved to the No. 1 ranking for the first time in school history. The ranking lasted one week.
?
A Georgia team that would go 7-3-2 on the season ran wild on the Florida defense in a 24-3 victory. Dawg freshmen RBs Keith Henderson (145 yards, 76 yard TD run, two total TDs) and Tim Worley (104 yards, 89 yard TD run) keyed UGA’s 344 total rushing yards. UGA stifled the Gator rushing attack and sacked Kerwin Bell numerous times allowing them to survive his 408 yards passing. The loss broke Galen Hall’s 15-0-1 record at Florida.
Florida would go on to have the best record in the SEC again as they finished 9-1-1 overall and 5-1 in the league, but would be ineligible for the SEC crown due to still being on probation. Unsure of crooked 1980s NCAA politics, I have no idea whether they were eligible for the national title, but they had been voted No. 1 that week so I assume they were eligible, meaning the Dawgs cost them a title shot.

Serious question.
Have you ever been happy with georgia football in your life aside from 1980? You do nothing but seek out things to complain about.
