Warning to UGA fans going to Clemson - Free Parking is a trap

At least the parking lot we parked in was. We sat for TWO HOURS while they let everyone else with season passes and paid for parking go. We didn't move an inch.

It really is terrible. Just trying to give a heads up.

I can confirm that, it's a good idea to either just be prepared to tailgate and hang out a couple hours after the game in free parking or pay for a spot.

Are the people around the stadium and non-alum parking areas in Clemson just as shitty and ghetto as Willy Brice?

Are you really asking me if there's a bunch of warehouses and workplaces in Clemson? Because if you're seriously asking that, then you're dumb.

I did, but it was pointed out to me that that is now a donor lot. I'm on phone, can you or one of the SC guys do the 'topics started by me' and repost that picture..then have cnb and ciye weigh in on their suggestions for where to go

Cool, I've been to games there 3 times. Once I parked over in the free parking and we knew about the traffic flow, so we just hung out for a few hours after the game.
Another time I got a "Parent" parking pass from by buddy who was going to clemson and I parked near the Freshman guys dorm (I don't know if they still do that, it was over 10 years ago.)
The last time I just paid for parking and I think it was less than $20. I don't remember which lot it was in, but it was close enough that I saw the stadium from the parking spot.
Overall, the closer you park to HWY 93 the better, b/c it will be quicker to get out.

There can be some pretty atrocious traffic after the game in general. I'd leave something in the tank instead of going all out at the game so you can drink after the game for a couple hours.

That Free General Parking right next to the "Clemson House" is where I was parked and we sat.
In 2006 and 2008 I parked in the general parking by the fire station I'm pretty sure. It seems like a long walk but they have shuttles before and after the game running every 30 minutes. Cost like 10 bucks then I believe.

Also, tailgating sucks. There's gonna be like 500 softball fields and you'll be parked in one.
