They play UF, Hawgs, Dawgs and Bama (after a bye) in 4 consecutive weeks. Let's hope UF and Ark soften them up some for us!

Yeah this is no joke:
Oklahoma
cupcake
@florida
arkansas
georgia
bye
@bama
@uk
SC
Granted the uk and sc games aren't going to draw the nation's eye, but they coudl still be fairly tough matchups.
I could see UT going 9-3 this year or 6-6. They are a total wildcard.

They play Bama every year. Arky may very well beat them.
ARky may soften them up. But we have a pretty good soften up team at our place the game before UT - Bama.

UT will go 8-4, Butch Jones will be praised as a genius.
He will still look like a middle aged lesbian.

Seriously frick UT. I get that they have potential to be better this year but why the hell is everyone so scared of them already? These UT obsessed posts really need to be banned, it is embarrassing.

UT will be this year's last year South Carolina.

Timing, in part... UGA gets juiced up to the max, maybe pulls out the big win over Alabama in Athens. But the next Saturday in Knoxville, we're the Alabama and UT gets to knock down the big boy. UT has more than enough to pull it off, depending on our team's state of mind.

Because they damn near beat us 2 years running and it can be argued shoulda.
Because they probably will be better.
Because the game is in Knoxville (I hope not at night).
Because regardless of who they play the week before, we have Bama and will be at least somewhat beaten up, let's just hope not a lot.
I am not sure scared is the word, but not to be concerned would be naive.
I expect that game to be as tight as a mouse's ear. Gird your loins.

Whopper left out we can't stop the run and Hurd will knock off 6 yard carries at will. Also we have Hutson Masons back up as starting qb.

You also left out that UT is a mediocre team with a snake oil salesman coach that hasn't won jack shite in years.
Quit being sissy boys, the season hasn't even started yet.

1. I give you this point.
2. they may be better, but so are we.....and some other schools too. Their record may not be better.
3. Knoxville is good for us. We will empty that stadium before the fourth quarter.
4. Bama is a big deal for us. UF and ARK just might beat those boys to death before we get there. Remember the past two years we were coming off Clemson and Usce and they were coming off cupcakes to start the season. A 2-3 start for Tenn wouldn't surprise me.
5. Yep Tenn is a big SECE game to taken seriouly. If App State can go into the Big House and Beat Michigan, anything is possible. I'm more concerned about USC, UF, Bama, Tech, and Auburn. That puts Tenn no better than mid range of conference teams to worry about.
6. You have a right to your own expectations.

UGA has the better team.
Just going about our business trying to get better right now. The noise and hype machine is stronger at UT because they have been down so long they will jump on any band wagon in the off season that makes the situation look better.

Most UT fans see this as breakout season due to all of the talent that CBJ has brought in. UGA, UF, USCe, and AR are gimmes, and MIzzou is a toss up. Bama is their only concern in the SEC. One fan has them unbeaten with a NC win over OSU. Problem is that they're paper thin on the O-line and still a very young team overall. And, altough they have brought in a couple of decent classes, most of the afore-mentioned programs have brought in equal or better. Plus they have Jancek and Martinez masterminding their D. I love to see them frothing at the mouth at the beginning of the season and then see the meltdown (fire__________) after their first loss. Thus the HC'ing carousel.
I hope we can run over them in K'ville for once. I get tired of hearing that they almost beat us several years in a row with much inferior talent.
