I hope this is true. Nothing more annoying than seeing your phone is dead after an hour of it just sitting in your pocket because it was searching for a signal.

Subway: 6-inch Turkey and BMT subs will be sold in stands:
Papa John's:
Sonny's BBQ:
Herschel's Famous 34
Chick-fil-A:

WTF if they just gave the Varsity the food vending contract they would sell 10 fold what this garbage will bring and people would not leave sick and nauseous either.

This looks like the work of ears Mcbarf in action.

It won't be true. Trust me on this.

I'll explain later. Don't get your hopes up.

OK here's the deal.. one of my contractors at work has part of the NFL contract to upgrade NFL stadiums with modernized wifi 4g blah blah so 80000 can all click send simultaneously and have it work, obviously very expensive. They've told me the NCAA is working on the same thing but it will be heavily subsidized because most schools can't afford that kind of thing, and his company is working with NCAA now on contracts.

Summary--- If the NCAA is in process of mandating and subsidizing this, ain't no way in Tar Nation that McGarity is doing his own multi-million dollar upgrades to telecom infrastructure when there might be NCAA money on the table to do this in the next year.

I hope all that makes sense, I tried to dumb it down as much as I could but still get the point across.

Yea, no reason to really pour any money in to it if they won't need to in a few years. Makes sense.

That is some nasty stuff. Other than Chick-fil-A not sure I have eaten any of that in years.

I am not sure how the credit card machines are gonna fix the incompetence of the volunteers that run the food stands. We shall see.

I just wish they would go back to a damn cup size that will fit in my cup holder.

What do you have against a gallon-sized cup that is filled half with coke and half with water? Watered down stadium coke is the best.

Whatever you do, don't let your kids go to the Subway concession and ask for a Kid's Meal.

And please God don't ask a Subway employee to "hold the Salami" on any of your orders!

Wouldn't you rather have the Varsity running the vending services than the muddled frick that's in place now?

Because they're not a vending service provider.I certainly wouldn't mind having their food at Sanford (nothing special but not horrible)

I believe Aramark provides services now but have no jurisdiction over the policy of volunteer services running some of the concessions...which is the biggest problem.

I assume the stadium is still using volunteers and giving "donations"to avoid labor costs. This correct?

the Varsity

right, because there's nothing like getting liquored up before a game and then going in to eat greasy Varsity food.
