UNC offensive lineman out for the year

Per the UNC rivals site:

UNC senior offensive lineman John Ferranto suffered what is being described as an upper body injury earlier this week and will miss the entire 2016 football season, sources close to the situation have confirmed to THI.
Ferranto was slated to start at right guard after serving as a key back up for much of the last two seasons. He actually led the Tar Heels with more than 800 snaps in 2014, starting most of the season. Last season, Ferranto played 433 snaps.

Ack. Hate that for him. They still have a lot of depth on the line, but this was an interesting quote:
13 starts at LT is a pretty talented guy, and he was supposed to be plug and play for an AA. I took a look and I guess his draft stock wasn't that high going into this year, so dunno if this will be it or if he's going to try and train for the combine/draft process at this point.

yeah, you never want to wish ill upon the other team.
However, since what's done is done and we can't change that now, it probably bodes well for us that it was along their OL since our DL is one of our biggest weaknesses/questions going into the game. Especially with the suspensions.

Finishes season as only DT with double digit sacks. All but 1 come from UNC game.
