Ungood. He could have been a decent weapon for us next year.

Wish him the best, but dang.

Don't necessarily see this as a bad thing. This frees up another scholly for this class as we're had just filled up.

He's not really an everyday guy. He's a decent role player but tries to play outside of himself too often.

I want to say he was encouraged to transfer because that's what my gut tells me but who knows.

A lot of teams may have encouraged him to transfer - but I highly doubt we would have.

He could be very frustrating to watch at times, but he could also be very good, both at scoring and rebounding. With Nemi and Thornton gone, we can use all the decent sized bodies we can get, and I don't really see any recruits that are on our radar that would have made Forte a player to be 'processed'.

Just an opinion, though.

Disappointing. Not going to ruin our season, but it doesn't help. I'll always appreciate him hitting that game winner at Bama this season. We were coming off losses to Auburn and South Carolina and needed that one desperately to keep our tournament hopes intact.

Who knows. I do know that we've been actively recruiting even after the last spot was "filled" with Edwards. So maybe there's someone else they feel really good about or they just knew that this would be coming. I'm not going to lose sleep over it because I never really thought he was all that good to begin with. Do love that shot against Alabama but other than that it was a lot of me uttering "what the frick were you thinking".

I thought the earlier threads were saying that we were going to look to have someone leave so we could bring in a legit big man.

I don't think we would have encouraged him to transfer. He would play a ton of minutes next year.

Although this probably means jaylen brown is coming IMO

The Forte rumors were true. Brown is a Dawg.

Let's be real. Love em' but his arse got processed. UGA is making room for another player. I think they're in the mix for Brown, Ward, and another JUCO transfer with more ability. I will forever be loyal and thankful for his clutch play down at Bamma. Good luck to the young man.

hearing we are really after a 5th year grad transfer. Would be a perfect fit, somebody who can start in the post next to Maten, bring Ogbeide and the other freshmen off the bench. We could be a really good team.

Loved Forte, great teammate, fun to watch. We all knew he and Fox didn't see eye to eye a lot though, this doesn't surprise me. Do not think he was forced out at all, think Cam is ready to go closer to home and play a lot.
