Unfortunately no objective analysis agrees.

Don't be a douche man. Nobodys saying he should diminish the players

A bit of recognition of the fact that the state he's head coached in for over a decade getting pillaged by all the other SEC coaches would be appropriate

How do you objectively analyze 18 year old football players? We have no idea what we have, but neither does Bama or anyone else. Tim Jennings, Thomas Davis, David Pollack, Sean Jones, Tony Gilbert, David Green, Richard Seymour, the list goes on and on. All of these guys were 3 stars or worse (don't think Davis & Jennings were good enough to be rated) and all had incredible college careers.

But a post signing day interview isn't the time to do that. You talk up what you got, not what you didn't get.

There's a science to it. Do some research

It's right way more than its wrong

A "science" arbitrary stars assigned by guys who watch film? Bama's advantage has more to do with over signing than "stars". It's right more than not at telling you 3-4 yrs of classes like Bama's trumps Techs. Between top classes it tells you very little. Mudcat was awesome for the blind pig....not much help on Saturdays.

Oh ok. Well for the record, as far as I'm concerned, we beat Bama in Atl and played for the bcs

This. Recognizing/admitting there's a problem is the first step in getting cured. The problem of course is our school admins and many of our fans/boosters apparently don't see a problem. You hear statements like:
Well, we can't get them all
One day we will put a fence around the state
Well, if they don't want to come to UGA then we don't want them anyway.
Who can understand the psychology of an 18 year old.
Or the famous: Several of our 3 stars will end up being 5 star players.
Or that kid is a head case.

Bottom line: there's no limit to the number of excuses our admins, coaches and fans come up with to explain why we don't seem to be able to sign the best recruits in our state.

Yes stupid arse. As in, an analytical method used to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of an athlete

Guess you prefer the lottery method

Lottery method? I may, could you explain it?

So recruiting stars are analytical evaluations? Sounds super fancy. Sure they don't watch film? I'm not a scientist so this stuff confuses me.

If you want to act like an asshat because Jamie effing Newberg didn't think our guys were as star worthy as Bama's go right ahead. Me, I will watch the 32 who are Dawgs and be happy to have them.
