Is it too early to discuss the game?

It's the ~4 month countdown

Their Defense is pretty bad. They were better under Gene Chizik last year, but to be fair, they were so terrible the year before, that's not saying much. Should be able to run right through them.

Dawgs need to do 2 things imo and they'll win: 1) score TDs in the red zone and not FGs. Put the pressure on UNC's offense (especially the young QB) to match TD for TD. UGA can't dominate the stat sheet but b/c they've kicked 4 FGs, UNC is still in the game . Because....2) UNC can absolutely kill you on special teams. That short white fricker is ridiculously quick and has all kinds of ACC and NCAA records for PR and KOR for TDs. Returns for a TD can swing the momentum of a game for good (see Gurley's KO return for a TD against Clemson in 2014).

We should never lose to a team that has baby blue as its team color.

They gave up 645 yards rushing to Baylor.

Run the ball until they quit, and then keep running it.

Baylor put 49 points and 756 years on UNC in the bowl game. 645 yards was on the ground. Healthy Chubb and Michel should have a good day. Chaney should be licking his chops looking at this matchup.

I hope our coaches and players are more serious about this game. Carolina has a pretty good team and a lot of first game motivation.

That running back (Hood I think) is a big hard runner.
cheesedick had the defense playing much better last yeear. The new QB has 3 years in the program so he should know the offense.

I'm looking for a real good game.

But they were one of the few teams that lost to south Carolina last year so there's that.

I juts hope we show up...if this were the previous regime we would know what to expect...the team would be flatter than the beer at a republican fund raiser, get behind early and rally to make it look good late. Hopefully Smart makes a statement that those days are done at UGA....win or lose just fricking show up prepared....

Trying to imagine a scenario in which they wouldn't.

With no real passing threat either. Baylor QB situation was so bad they were playing WRs at QB and had lost at home to Texas before that. They ran the same two or three plays over and over and over and UNC couldn't stop any of them.
