Kelin Johnson promoted from GA and Aaron Feld hired from UAB.

This means UGA now has a full strength staff under NCAA rules, which is the first time that's been the case, to my knowledge.

That's why they killed DVH's job & let him go, to fund these spots...

I love Kelin Johnson. His INT to start the 07 blackout will always be in my memory.

I'm a fan of Kelin's...but is even qualified to be a strength and conditioning coach?

Yes. They wouldn't hire him if we wasn't certified or whatever. He's just an assistant and probably lowest on the totem pole,

But wasn't that everyone's complaint about Joe T? He was certified but not necessarily qualified?

Joe T was the main S&C coach. Kelin, as they said, is lowest on the totem pole. It's not the same. It's good because, even though he's in the low echelon, Georgia is bringing on more coaches than they have before. Sure as shite can't hurt to have more coaches in the weight room whether it is keeping players accountable or helping out run drills or whatever. Whatever it is it isn't a bad thing.

Bc he was the head of the program. That's a little different than an assistant.

I'm far from an expert on this, but the difference with Kelin is that he is pretty low down on the S&C stuff. Joe T was heading up the program so the not necessarily qualified critique was more relevant with him.

Either way, I'm always rooting for Kelin. Had a class with him and really liked the guy.

I guess that makes sense. Whatever he does I hope he's successful.

Coach T was Assist Strength Coach back in the 80's. Don't understand why people are still under the assumption he had no experience.
