Richt 8-4
Dooley 7-3-1
Goff 6-6
Donnan 5-6
Smart ?-?

The bar hasn't exactly been set all that high over the past few decades. Legendary UGA coach Mark Richt leading the list as usual..

Where do you think Smart will rank on this list come January? And if he's not at least third, can we agree to call it an official disaster?

9 wins if Chubb is back in form. I'd be very pleased with a 10 win season.

He'll be on top of the list. If he isn't at LEAST third....yes, it would be a disaster.

Usually, the first year of a new coach is similar to the last year of an old coach.

It takes time to build a new team.

Dooley benefited from some good recruiting by his predecessor, making his first year an exception.

Richt's first year = Donnan's last year.

Donnan's first year ~= Goff's last year.

Goff's first year was a couple of games below Dooley's last year. He lost a couple of close games because of his inexperience. Plus, there was a reason Dooley retired. He saw some mediocre years ahead.

I think 9-3 is achievable barring Chubb can return and no other major injures

Kirby is inheriting a disaster as far as returning qbs. If Chubb is back then rb position is great. TE's are looking good. Is there any other position we are really strong at?

Its rare for a new coach to inherit a 10 win team. Kirby is set up very well, pending injury statuses.

I think squat was a shitty oc. This is basaically last years team with better OC

I expect 10 wins
