Earlier in the week Georgia Head Basketball Coach Mark Fox mentioned to fans at UGA Day in Charlotte that he and North Carolina Head Coach Roy Williams had discussed a possible two-game matchup between the Bulldogs and the Tarheels.

The site of the two-game series will be one of the main talking points as Fox and Williams continue to workout the details. The series could be a home and home or it could be two separate neutral sites.

Fox is in favor of either option.

"You know what, we talked about both," Fox said. "I would do either one, quite frankly and might let him decide if he would. Home and home would be great for both of us. Every team is dying to get really good home games. If it's neutral, neutral, that would work, too."

I'd love a home and home. Probably one of the very few "long distance" away basketball games Id go to.

Same here. It'd really be in our best interest for this to be a home and home.

If we played them in say Charlotte and Atlanta we'd never really have a home court advantage.

Sure, they'd bring a ton of fans to Athens, but not as many Heels would be there as there would be in Atlanta.

Either way, this is a series that should happen more often. I'm happy about us playing them in football too.

UNC seems like the type of program that would want one game at home and the other in a neutral site.
